But if your mental problems don\u2019t go away or get worse, it\u2019s important to seek help and to tackle your problems. The first step is discussing your symptoms with your GP. The general practitioner can, in agreement with you, suggest to talk to the psychologist\/mental healthcare worker.<\/p>\n<p>In our practice, this is Alexander van Tongeren. He supports the GP in treating patients with mental health problems.
